This policy explains what personal information WideSky Logistics collects when you use this website or ship with us, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
Information we collect
- Shipment details — sender and recipient names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, package descriptions, weights and dimensions.
- Quote and contact enquiries — the details you submit in our forms.
- Tracking lookups — the tracking code you search for, together with your IP address, which we use only for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
- Technical data — standard web-server logs and cookies required for the site to function.
Why we use it
To quote, arrange and carry out shipments; to send you tracking and status notifications; to keep the accounting records we are legally required to keep; and to answer your enquiries. We do not sell personal data.
Payment information
We record payment references and dates so invoices can be reconciled. We never store full card numbers on this website.
Who we share it with
Only where necessary to move your shipment: carriers, handling agents and customs authorities. Those parties receive the minimum information needed to perform their part of the journey.
How long we keep it
Shipment and accounting records are kept for the period required by applicable law. Quote and contact enquiries that do not lead to a shipment are deleted when they are no longer needed.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, or request deletion where we are not legally required to keep it. Contact our support team with your tracking code or the email address you used.
Security
Access to shipment records is restricted to authorised staff. Customer-visible tracking pages show only the information needed to follow a shipment and never expose internal notes or another customer’s data.
